Empty Bowls 2025: A Community Gathering for a Good Cause

The annual Empty Bowls event is returning to Racine on Monday, March 2, 2026, at Festival Hall. This one-of-a-kind fundraiser brings together the community to enjoy delicious food, beautiful art, and live music, all while supporting vital local organizations.

About Empty Bowls Racine

Empty Bowls Racine is part of a national movement to raise awareness of hunger and poverty. Attendees at the event will purchase a ticket that includes a handmade ceramic bowl, a hearty soup lunch, and the opportunity to bid on beautiful artwork from local artists. Proceeds from the event will benefit local organizations that are working to address hunger and homelessness in Racine County.

How it Works:

1. Purchase a Ticket: Your ticket grants you access to a day of fun and food.
2. Choose Your Bowl: Select a unique, handcrafted ceramic bowl created by local artists, schools, and organizations.
3. Savor the Soup: Enjoy a hearty bowl of soup and bread, prepared by local restaurants and bakeries.
4. Support the Community: Proceeds from the event will benefit HALO (Homeless Assistance Leadership Organization), the Racine County Food Bank, and the Hospitality Center.
