Festival Park Celebrates Grand Re-Opening with Bavarian-Themed Biergarten

Rain or Shine - Get ready to raise a glass and celebrate! Festival Park on Racine’s beautiful lakefront is throwing a grand re-opening party on May 17th and 18th, 2024, featuring a two-day Bavarian-style Biergarten.

Fun for the Whole Family

This family-friendly event promises a taste of Germany right here in Racine. Enjoy a wide selection of beverages, including German beers, US craft beers, and hard cider, alongside classic pairings like sausages and pretzels. Soak up the sunshine and the beautiful park setting as you experience a traditional German Biergarten atmosphere.

Live Music and Entertainment

Get ready to sing along and hoist your steins! The Biergarten will feature live music throughout the weekend, with something to please everyone.

Here's the lineup:

	Friday:  Lynette and the Rock Daddies will bring the energy with classic rock favorites.
	Saturday: 3-5 PM: Mike DeRose will create a smooth soundscape with his jazz stylings.
	Saturday: 6-9 PM: Mean Jake takes the stage with a high-octane performance of classic rock and blues.

Stein-Hoisting Contests and More

Put your strength and stamina to the test in stein-hoisting contests throughout the weekend. There will be fun for everyone, with traditional German steins and even the iconic drinking boots available for purchase.
