Youth Financial Literacy Workshop

Calling all high school students in Racine! Learn valuable financial skills for your future at a FREE Youth Financial Literacy Workshop at the historic Memorial Hall (72 7th St., Racine, WI 53403). This interactive event is brought to you by the Racine community and partnering financial institutions: Educators Credit Union, Community State Bank, and Marine Credit Union.

What to Expect:

The workshop will use an exciting program called "Reality Check," a simulation that helps students understand the real-world impact of financial decisions. Students will use the Bite of Reality mobile app to navigate life stages and experience financial gains or losses based on their choices.

Here's how it works:

• Students choose their desired career path.
• Other aspects of life, like credit score, marital status, and child support (if applicable), are randomly assigned.
• Students set their retirement age and use budgeting skills to reach their goal using the app.

This fun and engaging workshop will equip students with the knowledge and confidence to make informed financial decisions for their future.
